Welcome to the Sterling RiverBed, a Kenai River Alaska Bed & Breakfast. Our B&B is located right next to Bing’s Landing off of the Sterling Highway at milepost 80. It is just upriver from Naptown Rapids and boasts a back eddy known for some of the best silver salmon fishing on all the Kenai River, as well as a nice trout and dolly hole. This awesome riverfront B&B has a fabulous view of the river with 2 nearby bald eagle nests, but always pay attention to your surroundings as brown bear, black bear, coyote and moose wander the property at their own accord.
Our place is exclusive in that our space is limited, newly remodeled and newly furnished. Each room has a private entrance, queen and a twin bed configuration boasting high quality pillowtop mattresses with upgraded linens, and a private bath with tile floors and new showers. Our B&B is nestled in the woods on a private road, one mile off the highway. It is quiet, and the views are breathtaking. The common area where the continental breakfast will be served has a microwave, toaster and refrigerator stocked with snacks and bottled water available for you, or you can use it to store your personal food supplies during your stay. We are providing an outdoor BBQ. You can either bring your own food, or we will have available for purchase a New York steak, fresh green salad and baked potato. A 13 mile drive takes you to Soldotna for a variety of dining and shopping.
It is perfect for a day, weekend, or even a week of fishing, hiking or just enjoying the beauty of the Kenai Peninsula…a beautiful escape from daily life. After a day of ‘your pleasure’, the property allows you the opportunity to spend your evening relaxing, listening to the rapids, sitting by the fire pit or trying your luck on the world famous Kenai River.
